For preschool last week we learned about Martin Luther King Jr. I had the kids make a heart and I wrote " I Have a dream" above it. They learned that Martin Luther wanted blacks and whites to be friends, so I had them put a hand print in black paint next to a hand print in white paint. Then they colored a picture on another paper of what their dream is in the future. We learn about someone special from history each month, and because of it a little girl wants to be a nurse like Florance Nightingale. Two kids wanted to be firefighters, one a painter, a Cinderella worker at Disneyland, a Dr, and someone wanted to work at McDonald's!
